The Brown Heron

Of the many pubs in Mythrite, none are less interesting to look at than the Brown Heron. Situated discreetly between the Wharfmaster's Office and the docks themselves, those unfamiliar with the docks could live their whole lives in Mythrite and never discover it. To the sailors, fisherman, and dockworkers, however, the Heron is the best part of Mythrite. Locals and travelling sailors alike congregate at the pub to get a drink in relative peace.
The atmosphere of the Heron, for all its outward grime, is far more relaxed and friendly than even the highest-end pub in Mythrite's entertainment. The exclusivity and secretive nature of the place brings in a unified clientele that will fight to keep their favorite pub, but will otherwise be happy to nurse ale and discuss the latest news. The exception, however, lies with the Professionals, who know of the Heron simply by working at the docks. The few times any member of the Professional Dockworkers has tried to go in for a drink, they've been ushered quietly out, with the common room filling with pointed glares until they leave.
