The Shattered Lands
The Shattered Lands where once a an extremely fertile and well traveled area. That was until it became the crossroads of trade between the Ophis and Lyra regions. This was when various parties wanted to control this region for its strategic placement. The region's final staw came when a war broke out between Elves and Dwarves over trade rites. This war ended up spiraling into a massive conflict that forced them to put their differences aside in order to fight off the nomadic peoples coming up from Lyra. This group would later form the city of Drakmoor on the Lyric end of the land. This conflict also was the cause of the Confederation of Stone Tree's establishment. This conflict has been over for centuries but the land has still been rendered unlivable due to the extended conflict
Geography
A Barren Wasteland filled with ruins and the remnants of old machines of war. All forests have been turned into piles of toothpicks and rivers dried up.
