Insdyl Plains
Insdyl Plains are by far the largest province of Menicea, covering 30% of its territory. It has a common border with nearly every other region, making it a mandatory step in commercial travels.
Countless hamlets and villages grew after the Clan War and quickly built the place's reputation for having more crops fields than grass.
Geography
Just like their name implies it, the Insdyl Plains are relatively flat and dotted with small groves and hills that draw the region's landscape.
The closer you get to Odelia , the closer the plains get hilly. Most of the rivers that course on them come from the mountains and bless their neighbors with fresh fish.
Natural Resources
Insdyl Plains are very rich regarding resources. Not only they have a wide range of Menicea's fauna including wild Dlintiarnas and Tiaplos for example, but they also have lots of valuable plants and fruits found both in nature and in agricultural holdings.
This natural richness combined with the climate and the terrain pushed the farming destiny of the plains forward. They are both the primary source of food of the continent, but also the home to expensive farms that grow precious plants like nuts or vineyards.
Portrait of the locals
The immense size of the plains' population and its variety due to the differences between each corner of the province make it complicated to portray a single description of its community. The few traits that are really common come from the social condition of the Insdyleans. Indeed, many if not all of them are farmers or breeders who do not necessarily live in a populated area. It must be kept in mind that about 70% of the inhabitants of the region are scattered in small isolated hamlets. Paradoxically, there is a cultural level in Insdyl much more important than can be that of Odelia, yet similar concerning social classes present. With a little hindsight, the answer to this dilemma is simple: Insdyl connects almost all regions of Ménicéa between them and because of this, all travelers and merchants necessarily go there at a given moment. Thus, they contribute to the education and renewal of local knowledge during their stopovers. Insdyl is also used as a holiday resort by much wealthy bourgeois who have second homes, sometimes coming to have a good time during the mild season and again contributing to enrich the local culture.Important locations
