Fire Temple
Purpose / Function
The Fire Temple is the foremost place of worship for the goddess Din.
Architecture
The main body of the fire temple is carved out of a cavern near the base of Death Mountain, which a large annex chamber constructed outside where mass is held. The deeper rooms are less refined, and some of them open into lava pits and magma fields, making it dangerous to traverse if not a Goron or in proper protective gear.
History
The natural cavern where the Fire Temple is built was discovered long, long ago and used as a place of worship for the Golden Goddess Din. As time went on, the rooms and chambers were carved and built into a more intricate complex.
