Kakariko Village
Demographics
The population in Kakariko Village is nearly entirely Sheikah, save for a handful of Hylians who have married in.
Government
Kakariko Village is "governed" mostly by the elders of families living there, but all adults do their part to keep the secluded village running smoothly.
Infrastructure
Infrastructure is limited to sturdy little houses (some even with traditional thatched roofs) and a branching, winding dirt path. There's a community shrine and a meeting hall, which is primarily used as a school for the children of the village.
History
Kakariko Village is the ancient home of Sheikah since eras long past, and so it remains. Many Sheikah have made their way out to "outside" communities, and some of Hyrule's other races and species have married in, but it remains a secluded and remote village whose exact location is only known to a spare few in the larger world.
Geography
Kakariko Village is hidden from the world in the valley of two steep mountains at the tail end of the Eldin Mountain Range. A stream runs through the town, providing it with water.
Natural Resources
Almost all of the goods and food consumed in the village are produced there. Community gardens and chicken coops provide vegetables, meat, and eggs.
