The day of purple sky

This is not the world it once was. It’s a patchwork of millions of worlds. And it’s all because of a little think called Y2K!

Historical Basis

At the dawn of the new millennium a wave of radiation swept across the globe. The skies turned a deep violet for the next few days before lightening back to its natural shades by late January.    The epicenter of this event was the island of Manhattan. The radiation decimated the city of New York before creating a swirling mass of purple energy storms. The so called ‘Tempest’ began to expand before being contained to a 100 mile perimeter by the US Government.   The radiation as been tied to the mutations that have affected various living organisms through out the 21st century.
