Tae (Tay-a)
The Tae, at one point, was the only acceptable religion on the planet of Mohn during the Years of Tears. The Tae followed the teachings of the Power Mad God Denus. Denus is Aiwei's opposite; he praised hyper-self-reliance, hedonism, assuming as much wealth as possible and crushing your adversaries.
The rulers of the time (over 1500 years ago) used the teachings of Denus to subjugate the masses of people through torture, slavery and crushing poverty. Their rule began in a mysterious golden age where both The Tae and The Roses (Silkas) lived in a relative harmony. The rabbits were the predominant species following the small sect of Tae and most of the population followed Aiwei Treesinger. The Golden age ended some 3,500 years before with the discovery of the microchip and the accelerated out of control technological discoveries used without evaluating whether they were wise to use.
This is where the Tae and the Roses split. Many followed Denus as they found it was easier to become wealthier and influential. People forgot the teachings of the Silkas and focused on themselves and many small wars ensued. It is said this is the point where Aiwei Treesinger changed is face and demeanor to that of a wrathful Janus face. The Silkas now called him Aiwei Stormbringer and all his old holy sites began to be lost either underwater, absorbed by the forests or disappeared entirely. It is said the Rose Scepter was taken from the world.
As the people spurned Aiwei, he turned his back on them. The Tae religion consumed most of his followers and the Silkas religious druidic sect was forced underground, and its members hunted and slaughtered. That is until Antoine Jones, 30th great-grandfather of Chickee Jones rose with his sons and followers and destroyed the old Feudal order and sealed the Concordia of 2798.
Tae is not outlawed in todays' day and age, but it's rare to find anyone who openly admits it. Many rabbits are suspected of course, but there is no proof. The destruction and death ensued from it's teaching ensured its demise.
