Captain Harek Jurundson's "good luck charm" for dealing with the dangerous fey in the Myrloch, Alma seemed to be a reluctant crew member on the Serpent's Spittle. Whenever creatures were found in the water, Alma was called to go to the bow of the ship where she sang and the creatures ultimately left the ship alone. She seemed a bit reserved around Levi, whom she said "was like him", meaning Harek.
