Calendar of the Moontide Isles

Daoine Calender

The Daoine Calendar is based off of the phases of the moon and the thirteen full lunar cycles of the moon. Each month begins with the new moon and the calendar dates can be determined accordingly.   The 1st through the 3rd of every month are the nights of the new moon, while the 15th through the 17th of each month are the nights of the full moon.   Each season is 91 days long, with the beginning of each season falling on either a solstice or an equinox:

Spring begins on the 22nd of Wisphollow.
Summer begins on the 1st of Lightsdawn.
Autumn begins on the 8th of Harvesttide.
Winter begins on the 15th of Raventide.
