Hag Stone

A Hag Stone, also known as an adder stone, is a stone that has a naturally occurring hole through it. Such stones were, and sometimes still are, believed to have magical properties. These supposedly include the ability to heal a snake bite, or see through the disguise of a witch or fairy by looking through the hole.

Not every stone with a hole in it is a Hag Stone, but they can still be naturally occurring. Stones with a natural hole in them have a chance to be true Hag Stones. Those that are true Hag Stones allow the possessor to act as if they have the True Sight spell when viewing a fey illusion or glamoured form.
