Duergar found beneath the Teapeak Mountains in the ruins of Bol Kahldur extracting the poison from a dead purple worm. The party intimidated the group, and they began to parlay. They discovered that he and the others in his group were followers of Caena and were extracting the poison as part of a ritual. To prove his worth to them and before the eyes of Caena, Bolvaic drank a draught of purple worm poison, which grossly injured him, but he remained standing and the group believed that Caena had accepted him and therefore, so would they. They asked the party to depose of the necromancer, Mysafiestal, to slay him and in return they would lead the party out of the ruins, which they did.
