Mad God

Nyctelios, the Mad God, was banished and bound by the other gods, held beneath the sea. Even imprisoned, Nyctelios was able to reach out to the minds of their faithful. However, foul, maddening aberrations have been uncovered beneath the sea and beneath the earth, giving fear to Nyctelios’ rise. It is these creatures that have overtaken and banished the dwarves and deep gnomes from their ancestral homes beneath the isles.
