Violent, short-tempered, and angry, Tempest is the patron of storms, chaos, and rebellion. Often petty and vengeful, Tempest is a bully who actions are often motivated by rage or by a desire to never appear weak or compromising. Sailors often pay homage to Tempest with offerings or prayers to soothe his rage to ensure safe sails. However, his sudden rage and bursts have become synonymous with rebellion and uprisings and Tempest will often lend his aid to those who wish to bring down power.
