Along the head of the warhammer is written "Dwarf Friend" in Dwarven runes. When holding this weapon, the wielder can understand Dwarven, both written and spoken.
Proficiency with a warhammer allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
