The Eladrin create the first large settlements on Baeddan, which they call Sarifal.
The fey guardian, the Great Leviathan, arrives to defend the shores of the Moontide Isles, protecting its lands from migrations from the sea. The Moontide isles appear now largely as they do in the present, with larger islands and a few smaller ones.
The Great Leviathan allows the first non-Fey settlers to cross the sea. Elven explorers settle among the isles, living in harmony with the Fey.
The first Dwarves are found in the mountains of the Moontide Isles. It is believed that they emerged from tunnels that traversed beneath the sea.
The Dwarves, who were previously regarded with suspicion and distrust by the Fey and Elves, gain acceptance after waging a war against the Formorians.
Elmas, the King of the Unicorns, arrives from the Feywild to watch over and protect the lands of the isles.
Seeking refuge from the wars on the mainland, the Fey allow the first humans to cross the sea and settle on the Moontide Isles. These people would become the Daoine.
After the first transgressions against the Fey by the humans, the Wyld Hunt first appears to protect the lands.
First ships from Rhytham arrive to raid the isles. The Great Leviathan destroys most of the fleets, but the few survivors make it to the northern isles. These peoples will eventually become known as the Northlanders. The attack of the Great Leviathan still hold ritual and mythological significance to the Northlander customs today.
Inexplicably, most Fey including most Formorians retreat back to the Feywild, leaving the settlements of Sarifal to disappear. Elmas, the Great Leviathan, and the Wyld Hunt remain behind, but are seen with lessening frequency.
With the waning appearances of the Great Leviathan, more settlers arrive from Rhytham, increasing the Northlanders' population and hold on the northern isles.
Dragons wreck havoc on humanoid settlements on the mainland. The aftermath causes great schisms of power and great change in the nations. Servius Oleander is able to take advantage of the turmoil and begins the conquests that will eventually create the Oleander Throne, an empire that expands to conquer or influence most of the mainland.
Northlander ships take advantage of the now rarely seen Great Leviathan and raid the Daoine islands, finding the communities to be poorly defended, squabbling petty kingdoms. The raids worsen over the following decades.
Oadhan Kendrick raises a fleet of ships from the differing petty kingdoms to halt the Northlander raids. A violent war ensues over the next six years, but ultimately the Northlanders relent and cease their raids.
After defeating the Northlander raiders, Oadhan Kendrick is named the first High King of the Moontide Isles, uniting for the first time, kingdoms in Glanmoor, Baeddan, Llywelyn, and Olwyn. Caer Ceredig is created as the High King's palace. Tensions remain high with the Daoine and the Northlanders.
High King Oadhan Kendrick dies, succumbing to an illness. Oadhan's son, Niall Kendrick is named the High King's successor. However, his authority is often tested as the petty kingdoms beneath him push for more power and control, creating several minor wars that the High King failed to halt.
High King Niall Kendrick and his heirs are assassinated. The culprit is not discovered. This sets off a war between the petty kingdoms to seize the seat of the High King for themselves.
War between the petty kingdoms of the Moontide Isles to claim control of the High King's throne. Engagements slow and cease with no recognized claimant to the throne. Petty kingdoms govern once again in their own self-interest.
With the role of High King abandoned, the Northlander raids begin again, taking advantage of the disorganized and militarily exhausted petty kings.
The first expeditions from the expanding Oleander Throne land on the isle of Ilfor, establishing a colony on the isle.
After suffering raids in both their Ilfor colony and along the mainland, the Oleander Throne retaliates against the Northlander aggression, destroying many of their raiding ships and threatening their territories in the north islands.
After leading the repulsion of the Oleander Throne, Lugh Dunaid is named High King of the Moontide Isles.
The Oleander Throne begins an assault to conquer the Moontide Isles. As their ships near the isles, a terrible storm rages, washing away the fleet. It is said that the Old Gods Ran and Tempest brought forth the storm to destroy the ships. Along with the churning water returned the Great Leviathan, which smashed the remaining ships to splinters. On the island of Ilfor, a druid named Lugh Dunaid rode to the Oleander Throne colony and the Wyld Hunt appeared behind him. He and the Hunt decimated the Oleander colony, destroying the Oleander Throne's foothold on the Moontide Isles.
The Northlanders believed it was the High King's will that brought back the Great Leviathan. In order to seal a peace between the Northlanders and the Daoine, High King Dunaid takes a Northlander, Asfridd, as his wife. Formal peace is acknowledged between the Northlander and Daoine peoples and the islands begin cohabitation.
Aislinn Dunaid is born to High King Lugh Dunaid and Queen Asfridd.
Queen Asfridd dies in childbirth to Lugh II.
Since Queen Asfridd's death, tensions mount between Daoine and Northlander settlements, which include several small skirmishes.
Tensions continue between the Northlanders and Daoine. A figure calling herself the Ice Maiden arises among the Northlanders, claiming to be their true monarch.
With tensions rising between the Daoine and the Northlanders, High King Lugh Dunaid abdicates the throne, passing it to his daughter, the High Queen Aislinn Dunaid, in hopes that the daughter of a Daoine/Northlander union will keep the peace.
While returning to his druidic work since abdicating the throne, Lugh Dunaid disappears while in Myrloch Vale. Rumors speak of how he was called to the Feywild.
