A major earthquake went through the The planet of Moontides , with an epicenter close to Fountain . The old Moon Citadel 's foundation was heavily damaged, leading to the building itself being torn off the base and lifted by the Moon 's gravity. Most of the people in the building were killed by injuries during the process and those who survived the initial quake died soon after due to asphyxiation as the buildling rose higher.   The Moon Citadel was rebuilt later on, and the Luminary Fleet cleaned up all the space debris including the old building floating in space, in between the Moon and Moontides soon after.
