Personal history

Captain Crooked founded The Gallow Ghosts during his take over of Cape Vein. It used to be run by another Pirate Lord that Crooked sailed under. He eventually became first mate but mutinied against the captain and took over the ship. It was said that he sailed with the Captain of the Diamond Darlings, but those are just rumors.

Mental Trauma

He is considered to be criminally insane. Often torturing his victims and reveling in their misery. Those who see his flag flying about the mast cower in fear.

He is known to be cunning and intellectually superior to the many other pirate Lords sailing the Nova Katta.
