The Mantle Arena

The mantle arena is a voluntary fighting pit. The best fihgters in the world often come here to test their skills. The arena is heavily associated with The Black Moon Casino, and anyone can cast bets on the fight.
The arena has a steep history going back a thousand years. There is a deep culture embedded into the arena and those who join and dont follow oftne are ridiculed, ostrichcised, or even killed.
RULES:
Killing is permitted, unless the opponenet yeilds. If yeilding opponent is killed purposfully, the punihsment is an expulsion from the arena and 10 years in prison.

RANKS:
Grand Master: The Grand Master is the highest rank achievable in the Arena. There are about twenty at a time, and they are experts of combat. GMs tend to be the captain of thier party, which mostly consists of Masters.
Master: masters are the second highest rank. They fight under the highest echelon of fights. They are famous throughout Mantle and even the world. There are about 100 Master rank combatants.
Champion: Champions are the Captains of the lower echelon of fights.
Journyman: these memebers are the 2nd rank of the arena. they are awared special privleges, like access to the bathhouse, and the Cafeteria. They typically still act as party members to a Champion, but some do form thier own partys, though this is uncommon.
Noive: These members are awared the rank when they have completed three matches and survived.
Probationer: Probationers are the lowest rank in the arena. thousands enter each month, and most dont make it past the rank. you need to win 3 regulation matches to rank up, and most either quit or die in that time. Because of the mass amount of people in one fight, yeilders are often killed without repercussion. Probationers fight in Group Matches, in which multiple parties are fighting on teams.
