Collective Collective

“Here in town! Stick around! All ye merry souls! Do not dismay, for today, we are here to stay!”
-Opening March to the Bright Ensemble Collective’s performances. 

The Bright Ensemble refers to a collective of performers and musicians who traverse the Alloyan countryside, sharing tales and telling stories across the realm. 
Members of this group are usually instrumentalists, but they can be storytellers, singers, dancers, and performers in all.  They do not discriminate based on race or creed, and are welcoming to all. However getting into the club usually requires an audition before at least three other members of the established group. 
Despite the name, every Collective actually has a different name for their group. As part of their major tenant to express one’s self, they can take any name any name they wish, so long as they end it with “Collective” as a sign of belonging to the larger group. 
Notable Examples include:

• The Bright Ensemble Collective (performing Mother Sun acolytes)
• The Copper Terror Collective (likes to perform dark retellings of stories.)
• The Wild Menagerie Collective (likes to perform with trained animals)
• The Past Lore Collective (likes to tell old stories)
• The Dashing Swordsleuth Collective (a collective that likes to perform staged combat.)

Structure

The groups are free to run their collective however they wish, but it is generally accepted that all groups have a “Lead”. The Lead is the one who is both the group’s face and the organizer of events. They have any number of responsibilities and can deligate as they see fit. 

Public Agenda

First and foremost, every Colletive’s main goal is to perform and entertain. Whether it’s satire, art, music, drama, what have you, they’re always going to encourage and preserve culture and art where they can.
