Seven Gunslingers

"Though my father doesn't talk about it much, the Seven are all heroes to this land. They're the ones who fought back the hordes at Bastion, and were the reason many more lives were saved. What you have there is a bit of history."
  • Avalissa discussing the rifle Malopher obtained from Janore
  • The Myth of the Seven Gunslingers is a bit of story that is often considered supplemental to the Battle of Bastion. In the story it tells of seven people who were gifted a rifle each by the Firearm creator: Garasha. These seven then led the charge that forced the Ta'Lesharo out of Bastion and ultimately ended the fighting.   The names of all seven were not recorded, but some eyewitness accounts to claim to have seen seven folk charge the front lines in the battle's end days.   Per Avalissa this is not a myth, but a factual group, and they are all evidence by notable rifles that bear the names of their owners upon the handle, plated in gold and stamped with Garasha's seal.   Confirmed members of the 7 are:
    • Jerund - rifle currently held by Malopher.
    • Jonathan -
    • Roland -
    • Abigael -
    • Castorius -
    • Bandi - triple barrel rifle held by Malopher

    Cultural Reception

Some people really like the story, as the idea seven people could be so influential to a battle is appealing. Not only that but many use it as a way to show people of all walks of life can band together to aid people.   Some see it as trivializing the struggle of those who fought in the battle. Many consider the story to be nothing more than hopeful storytelling or propaganda.
