House Stenard

The house of Stenard has been one of the largest, most powerful houses in Aelaes since the times of the Green Wars, working with Holhawk, Mythelos, and Aril to stamp out the inhuman menaces across the continent, formally becoming a noble house in 217 CE. Some of the most dangerous warriors are from this house, known for their ruthless drive to uphold the values of the human invaders within the populace of the lands they take over by force. In ancient times, they were thousands of such warriors strong, claiming the most brutal kills and terrible injustices to their names, though if asked they would maintain it was for the good of the humans who swarmed the lands like locusts. In modern times, house Stenard is far more peaceful as the newer generations have lost their stomach for the decisive and swift justice that the house was known for. They might be slower to adapt to the more compassionate methods that were famed in house Mosslynn, but they are increasing in working with those who reside in their lands. House Stenard boasts a rich tradition of defence, warrior training, and tactics in the military realms, while they also hold some of the more well-educated members of the peerage in Thyram. Whilst they, like all Aelaen houses have humble roots in Luxos, Stenard is one of the few that regularly will send their best and most promising warriors back to their ancient homelands to assist in quelling uprisings that may occur.
