The beings of power which were closest to the worlds themselves found themselves embroiled in their own petty wars. They, in turn, decided to fracture the world into reflections of Morata, and divide their people into the Emean faction who took the lighter world, and the Yitani faction who took the shadowed world.

The wars between the gods and beings of power had ceased, though petty squabbles remained in the beings of power and their people. They actively waged against both each other and the races upon the world of Morata that were fighting to survive and thrive. In an effort to both save their own lives and be at peace, the leaders of the beings of power joined forces and split their world in two, creating a light and dark reflection of the world to keep from the world of the mortals. Thus, Emea and Yitanor were created, and with it, the two factions. The Yitani moved towards the darker reflection, while the Emeans chose the light reflection, and the wars upon the world of the mortals ceased.

The fracturing of the world created a miniature cataclysm that swept away the life on several island nations that had no elevation. Several species of plants and animals were wiped out in an instant.
