The long winter has passed and spring has nearly turned to summer. It is a time for growth and exploration, for learning and planting seeds with hope for the future. At Verdantide, as has been done every Verdantide for twenty generations, The Seinne (The Hunt) has been ceremonially initiated, calling Witches from across the Tarnlands to declare themselves and to participate in the search for the Ulaidh. This is the proving ground for heroes in the making. To complete the Seinne - that is, to actively hunt for the Ulaidh from Verdantide until Wintercall - is to be honoured in stories to be told in the Citadels for many winters to come. However, should a hunter finally succeed in finding the Ulaidh, he would certainly be the greatest hero of this Age.
