Istall

Istall is the language spoken by natives of the Stell Islands. It is a little known dialect, though its occasional similarities to Fharyne suggest that the two evolved from a common ancestor. Even in its homeland of Stell, Istall is spoken with decreasing frequency due to its lack of utility compared to the more popular Low Common. It is also a rather difficult language, with many foreigners claiming that it sounds like gibberish no matter how hard they attempt to learn it. This quality has lead to Istall being adopted by nefarious or secretive groups such as secret societies and pirate crews, such that they can communicate in secret while out in the open.
