Akodo
They are also known as "Dragon Birds". They are large flightless birds that are powerful and fast runners. They can breathe fire and their wings generate strong winds. Their tail feathers can also heal. Their meat is also prized for culinary purposes. For these reasons they are commonly raised by farmers as steeds and companion protectors. However, their wild counterparts can actually be dangerous and voracious hunters.

Genetics and Reproduction
Akodo reach sexual maturity around the 15-16 years of age. At which their will find a mate, which they mate with for life. Female lay a single egg every 2 years. If fertilized the egg will incubate for about 50 days. After which both parents will raise hatchling for 2 years until the female lays her next egg.

Youngling
THuis stage covers the first two years of an akodo. when they first hath they are covered in brown down feather and take about 2 weeks to stand. then over the course of a year their feathers molt and they get their golden feather. It also learn to hunt and survive from their parents. they just before their mother lays her next egg they leave .Adolescence
Akodo between the 2-10 years of age. This is the stage of life they wander off on their own mostly searching new territory and hunting. This is the stage in which they grow the most as well. They is also are in search of a mate during this time. If they do find a mate they will continue to travel together until one of the mate approaches maturity.Adult
Once one of the mates approaches maturity, the pairing will settle in a territory and build a nest. They begin the cycle of hatching and raise offspring.Ecology and Habitats
