East Islands
An eastern archipelago of ancient islands starting at the entrance of Sunsea and flowing out into the Folksbane sea. THey are the eastern most region of all the 13 kingdoms. It is currently ruled by Johoveth family out of the capital city of Higarden.
Geography
The remains of a larger land mass that was separated and divided from the mainland. The East Islands contain thousands of islands of various sizes and environments. THe largest islands also serve as a hub for civilization. Due to the geographical isolation each island even has a slight unique wildlife evolved on each island. Althought limited, each islands have unique resources which they engage in various levels of trade to maintain a balance among the islands cultures.
Ecosystem Cycles
Due to their cental location the east islands tend to have a relative stable temperate climate throught out the year. so they dot eaxct organize the seasons through temperatures. Instead they divide their season according to storm activity. During what is considered fall and winteron the mainland the east islands expierence more frecuent and more powerful storms from the sea. While summer and spring then to be calmer times.

Natural Resources
Individual islands themselves have varied and limited resources. Some are rich in stone or ore, other foster lumber and wildlife, other are great regions of agriculture. Some islands even learned to specialize in crafts and technology to be relevant. The key to survival among these islands is cooperation and sharing of various resources . THis is especially essential after strong storms.
History
The isolation, limited resources and need for cooperation has fostered peaceful and trusting peoples among the island's cultures. Still the differences in the island also foster a variety of unique cultures. The people here greatly value life as each is limited and supply can make a large difference in times of need. The east islands were another region that remained mostly untouched by the Sailon Empires. The empires did not view the limited resource worth the hassle of dealing with the isolated area and volatile storm seasons. Plus the peaceful nature of most of the cultures here stopped the empires from viewing them as a threat. Then empires were glad to stick with simple trade which the east islands were more than eager to do.
