Under unusual circumstances, when an Ex-IMP is created, the area that used to be their IMPatch becomes a flat disc of Void Shards.

History & Usage

Everyday use

Someone with a connection to the Void or with a tool connected to the Void can use these shards to open a portal to and from the Void.

It cuts off one's connection to the Barrier, so magic-users can't use magic while touching it.

Manufacturing & Products

Was used as a part of the Quadrus, but it was impossible to find reliably.

Hazards

If one cuts themself on a Void Shard and they don't have a connection to the Void, they get incurably poisoned.
