Introduction

Welcome, hale and hearty would-be-heroes! You are now on the cusp of adventure into the world of Mostly Faerun!  

Mostly Faerun

The adventure takes place on and around the fantasy continent of Faerun on the world of Toril. But since this is Mostly Faerun, the history and lore of real Faerun are to be considered suggestions at best. Geography, cities, and cultures are a framework to build off of, not guidelines to work within.

Gritty Adventure

  The wilds of Mostly Faerun are dangerous and there's no GPS or fast travel. Making the weeks-long trek between distant cities will require accurate navigation, adequate supplies, and a bit of luck to avoid brigands and monsters. Traveling through the unmapped wilderness of Mostly Faerun is even more complex and dangerous, but the rewards may be worth it.   Various homebrew rules are in place to handle overland travel as well as make this adventure a grittier experience. Rules are Suggestions

In the event that an action the PCs or NPCs want to take doesn't exist in any rules as written, but is still reasonably possible, a best-guess check/save/roll will be used in order to evaluate the success. The desire for exciting, interesting, and engaging gameplay always trumps the specific rules from the book.
