Carillon

A human noble family whose lands lie in the foothills of the mountains in the east of Middlemarch, the Carillon family have long been staunch allies of the Dawnstars, with the alliance sealed by marriage (the King’s consort, Lady Isobel is from this house), and by the reward of the titles (Lord Tirus is Marchward of Middlemarch). Despite their political fortunes, they are a family who care little for politics and instead far more for knightly virtues. Cynics in the court claim that the Carillons are little more than the mailed fist in the Dawnstar velvet glove.
