A recently ennobled and enterprising human family, the Drummonds are often viewed as little more than riff raff in fine clothing. Despite the whiff of new money and rumours of thuggish activity, the Drummonds have been important to maintaining the Dawnstar monarchy, particularly amongst the free cities, where their humble origins have given them sway amongst the guilders. Lady Nancy Drummond takes her reputation as little more than a mobster in a frock in her stride, and is not above using intimidation to further her aims.
