Lodestar

The Lodestars are a human family from Coldmarch, where their ancestors lived before their captivity under the Elves. Their short and stocky physicality and their gruff demeanours have led many to suggest that there must be some Dwarven blood in their ancestry. The Lodestars are less concerned with the politics of the southern marches and instead concern themselves with the defence of the realm from Ice Trolls, Snow Elves and marauding bands of northern Orcs. It is for this reason that many successive monarchs have named a Lodestar as Marchward of Coldmarch. The current head of the house is Marchward Freya.
