Techar cars are famous for being on the posters of young drivers across the galaxy. Although originally going bankrupt in the 2300s, the new and improved Techar Automotive is an industry titan, supplying the middle class with a perfect mixture of performance, efficiency and most famously, style. Techar have also branched out to armoured military vehicles in conjunction with Milisys.

History

Techar began an automotive revolution in the 2060s by creating the first commercially available biofuel vehicles. The most famous of which was the Trira 2077, a highly powerful and beautifully designed car for the masses. By the 2300s, the United Nations of Earth were facing an economic crisis due to the Kelv League revoking their trade agreement with the nation. And despite overwhelming success for 299 years, the company eventually went bankrupt due to other more established car makers being able to create more economical vehicles. Techar designed cars for the then almost extinct middle class, so were in a poor situation when they couldn’t supply the economical vehicles that the working class needed, and the luxury vehicles that the ruling elite wanted. Centuries later a man named Helmut Stier bought the rights to the name and designs of Techar from the Munich Automotive Museum with the bold ambition of recreating the once iconic company. Helmut had been fascinated by defunct car corporations like Techar from a very young age, so pursued a career in the vehicle industry and ended up working for Pride & Joy as the lead designer of the P&J Eighty. Although he was in a highly paid and respected position, Helmut always had a dream of creating his own car company to honour the forgotten companies of the past. The revitalised Techar’s first car, the Trira 2877, was a homage to the car that made Techar such a formidable company. The car was a commercial success and each new car and AV afterwards added to the snowballing success of Techar Automotive. Perhaps this time they’ll finally reach a 300th anniversary.
