Earthen Insects

These small lifeforms that have segmented bodies, tough outer shells and occasionally wings. Includes bees, ants, butterflies, beetles, flies and other creatures. Some are very specialized and fill out specific niches or utilize specefic strategies. Important for the ecosystem they exists in, insects serve in many places as pollinators and waste converters and are as such a critical piece of the nutrition cycle.


Not truly included but also often thought of as insects are spiders and scorpions, millipedes and centipedes.
