The Steam Engine

The utilization of steam for power, this invention lead to the industrialization of human society. Motors created with this technology in mind lead to the introduction og mass transport by train, steamboat, and eventually cars. In addition they enabled mass production and lead to the creation of factories which could produce anything from iron based goods, bits and pieces in the beginning, then radios and cars later, and even more advances products after that untill eventually 3D printing and home assembly took over.
