Hokkaran (Hoe-Kar-An)

The hokkarans were an ethnicity who lived near the ocean regions of the Occidentra Continent. Their cultures and peoples tended to maintain themselves close to the ocean, working as fishermen. Prior to the founding of Cahokia, the hokkaran were a scattered culture, with their largest settlements being no bigger than a large trading town. The Hokkarans thrived through trade with other hokkaran settlements, and foreign trade on the edges of their territory, but were otherwise simplistic in culture, with no major settlements or militaristic histories.
