Basic Information
Anatomy
This quadruped is a monster. Its scaly skin is rough whilst its horns are sharper than glass. Its head is pointed and evil, whilst its muscle body is covered in scales (apart from its underbelly). Its back legs are powerful and its tail is its deadliest weapon. But its wings. Its wings are spectacular. The enormous wings can propel it at 60mph in the air. Dragons are a force to be reckoned with.
Genetics and Reproduction
Dragons are born after 6 months of developing inside their mother and then spend over 14 months developing inside their egg. Dragons only produce one egg.
Growth Rate & Stages
Dragons, who hatch looking like large lizards, grow quickly. At six weeks, their lizard like heads have morphed into that of a typical dragon. After 10 weeks their tail and head start developing horns. And at 14 weeks wings start to form. A dragon of 7 months generally looks like a dragon of 2 years - just a lot smaller. At 10 years a dragon is fully grown.
Ecology and Habitats
When they were alive, most dragons live don Orckos. This was because of its rich gem deposits which dragons feed off of.
Dietary Needs and Habits
Dragons feed on gemstones such as Paininen, a rich red crystal and Vihrae, a green one of equal value. Dragons melt it down with their fiery breath before guzzling them down greedily.
Biological Cycle
Dragons so not hibernate however their sleeping patterns lengthen in the winter, almost doubling from eight hours a day to fifteen.

Perception and Sensory Capabilities
Dragons who can sleep with their eyes open have sharp eyesight however their sense of smell is the strongest in all of Mundomirum. A dragon could smell an dark elf amongst a million light elves. A dragon can also breath fire and produce heat.
