Law of Magical Interconnectedness

"Agærian," uttered the adept mage. The magic was amazing. You could see all the magic in the air. Every living thing connected with a strand of wispy blue mist that sparkled in the morning sun. The effect was amazing. Even the mage was connected to everything around him. Whether able to harness magic or not all worked together. All connected through a mystical force.

Manifestation

Though usually invisible, when the spell "Agærian" is cast, blue strands of life magic connect everything penetrating through the light magic that is abundant in the day or the dark magic in the night. It gives off an eerie glow that can light up the darkest of times. The connectedness means everything that lives is synchronised to an extent. A deep sorrow can create a communal sadness of a great joy could become a whole village's happiness. It makes all living beings actually communicate on an unprecedented unconscious level, even more so than that which makes your heart beat or your lungs breathe. It is a deep instinct that all have.

Manipulation and Exploitation

Elven

Elves can use this law to be able to manipulate their surrounding. They can cause all to grow or many to perish of grief or sorrow, especially of non-sentient beings like plants. They also use it to find their way as connections may be broken and if done with powerful magic, can last years or even decades before healing. Many have been known to not reconnect for centuries. Though it makes a good marker for lost elves, if a connection between beings is severed, they turn on each other intent on destroying the other. However, strengthened bonds, are powerful and create an everlasting bond, even after death. When elves marry, a bond is strengthened by a master mage, to link that pair eternally. Only a grandmaster, is sufficient to break a bond that has been strengthened in a divorce. This is rare however as the bond only makes the love stronger.

Dwarven

Dwarfs magi or more commonly those who enlist the help of elves, can see all beings, even those that are microscopic. Under a powerful microscope, all bonds are visible (those animals which are smaller have smaller, shorter bonds) It is very useful in finding and identifying animals as all beings connections are slightly different widths. They can also be used by dwarfs to help with discoveries of new species and subspecies. It is used in the manipulation of genes as slight notches in the strand of magic can influence and change both the behaviour and even occasionally the genetic make-up of the creature.

Localization

It is every and not restricted to magical areas. Only one strand exists, it just goes through beings and changes widths. Everything is connected to everything via other animals. Magi who are powerful at Irakurrikontuency, can communicate with those on the other side of the planet if they can located their bonds' width and notches correctly.
