Ayrenn Silverstrand

Biography

Ayrenn is still only a mere 200 years young. She grew up in the court of Asvalon and all the intrigue that came with it. She was put on the throne when both her parents perished in a bandit raid when she was 178. As a young queen she was very reliant on her advisors in the court. When the dark elves invaded, critics were quick to blame her young age for the subsequent losses on the battlefield.
Ayrenn has had a noble upbringing and therefore is acquainted with most of the business that comes with running a country. Apart from that she was also taught to fight with bow, spear and magic. Even though she was not an especially gifted magic user, she can still be a deadly force if she needs to be. Ayrenn prefers the arena of politics over the battlefield however.
In her personal guard there is one wood elf, Cecilia, that is especially dear to her. Both were raised at the court and they have been close friends ever since their youth. Vile rumours in the capital even state that the two are more than friends...

Skills

Ayrenn is a gifted speaker and diplomat. As stated above she is also well versed in the arts and she plays both harp and flute. She knows how to defend herself but is not a particularly gifted warrior.

Personality

Ayrenn has had a noble upbringing and it shows. She has hardly ever set foot outside of the palaces and courtyards of the Kingdom. Although she can come across snobbish or elitist, she does have a pure heart and often is simply unaware of her own privilege.

Ideals

In word and speech Ayrenn is often a force for unity in the realm. She mostly sees her job as keeping the squabbling nobles in line.

Bonds

Her strongest alliance is to her friend Cecilia. Furthermore her family relied heavily on support from the noble house of Panorin, which held lands in what is in modern days called Koron.

Flaws

Ayrenn can come across snobbish. She also fancies luxury to a certain degree.
