Hircine

Hunter among the gods, Hircine is the Daedric prince of the Hunt. He inspires the battle between Hunter & Prey and is known to give his prey a fair chance at winning. Unlike many of his fellow Daedra, Hircine is not necessarily evil and is prayed to by many hunters hoping to increase their luck in the hunt. He is the father of Lycantrophy and all associated forms, with werewolves being prime examples of his perfect huntsmen.

Bloodmoon

Hircine resides in the plane of 'Bloodmoon' were the eternal hunt takes place. Upon entering his realm, mortals become part of the Great Game and will for roam the planes either hiding or hunting for survival. During passing of Bloodmoon, an increased amount of wildlife, mostly predators, is observed in Mundus. Furthermore an event known as 'the Wild Hunt' transpires, which includes the spawning of armies of beastmen in an attempt to restore natural order of hunt to Mundus.
