Hurlock

Part of the Darkspawn family, Hurlocks form the main meat of the Darkspawn armies. They are around Medium size and have a brown/grey pale skin, appearing almost like undead. Hurlocks can either be created through turning by the Blight, or being produced by a Darkspawn Breedmother. Hurlocks are encountered in a variety of specialties, such as Emmisaries (the Hurlock Mages), Warriors and Bolter (Crossbow unit), each being graded on their strength from regular to Alpha to Omega. A particular fearsome darkspawn is the Hurlock Tormentor, often employed on elimination missions by higher ranking darkspawn. As such, the variety of Hurlocks makes them capable of Intelligent thinking.

Genetics and Reproduction

Hurlocks are either created by the Blight striking a living humanoid, or produced by a Breed Mother.

Ecology and Habitats

Hurlocks, like most darkspawn, tend to live deep underground in the Dwarven Deep Roads. They surface for an occasional raid but generally remain underground, unless in a time of Blight.

Dietary Needs and Habits

The Blight relieves them from the need to feed, much like an undead.
