Peryite

Master of Plagues and Disease, Peryite acts as the antagonist of Mara. Peryite is connected to most afflictions in some way or another. Among his fellow Daedra he is regarded as the weakest, as his poisons and illnesses do not seem to affect the other Daedric Princes. Some preach to Peryite for him keeping the natural balance in the world.

The Pits

Peryite resides in 'The Pits', a plane of oblivion filled with enormous tunnels and all kinds of monstrous vegetation. Upon passing of his plane the greatest pests and plagues occur on Mundus. Among the Daedra found in The Pits are:

• Slimes
• Poisonhorns
• Scamps

Appearnce

Depending on Peryite's mood, he is known to appear in different forms. If he is in a benevolent mood, he is known to appear as a Green Dragon, while if he feels insulted he takes up the form of a giant gastromorph.
