Talon Mountains

The Talon Mountains are a mountain range at the northern edge of the Southern Wilds. The high, ragged peaks of the center range are surrounded by several lower and friendlier hillsides. The western range is separated from the main grouping of mountains by the Talon gap. As a mountain range it has served as a natural border to both the Kingdom of Myrtana and The Night's Watch for a long time. The hills are home to large numbers of Trolls and Giants. In fact, in recent years its hillsides and caverns were the spectacle of a long war between both races of which eventually the Giant King Yhorm emerged victorious. Its slopes also house the westernmost entrance to Mazaar, but that entry has been sealed for centuries due to the many roaming orcs, trolls and giants nearby.
