Lullaby petal

The Lullaby petal is a small, orange and yellow flower which grows in many forests across Dalmasca, favoring warm and shaded areas. It gets its name from the unique effect its pollen has on many animals native to its homeland, it can quickly cause drowsiness and it doesn't take much prolonged contact for a creature to fall into a deep sleep. Travelers should take caution if they see Lullaby petals as larger animals that can temporarily withstand the pollen often make their dens near the flower, feeding on the smaller animals that succumb to its poison. Black ivy and mother's mercy are not an uncommon sight around Lullaby petals as they, much like the larger animals, find great success in feeding on the animals and insects the Lullaby petal offers them.
