The Feywild

The Feywild is a plane of existence that closely mirrors the material plane, but to its ultimate extreme. In the material plane there may be a small mountain, whereas in the Feywild there would be an immense mountain range that stretches all the way into the heavens and beyond. Instead of a coral reef, there would be a sprawling mass of infinite different types of flora and fauna. The Feywild is governed by two courts, both with their own queen and often at odds with each other, however, neither is inherently good or evil, as is the rule for all things fey, for they seek nothing more than to entertain themselves however possible in that moment. It is a poor decision to freely trust a Fey, for their minds work not like that of a mortal, and to them you are entirely disposable if you ever cease to amuse them.
Fey are still capable of being foiled, as they are bound by natural laws and magics to always speak the truth, and due to a pride they all share if you make a bet with one and win, they will always honour they side of the bargain. The trade off for these restrictions is that fey are far more in tune with the natural magics of the world, giving them a rather profound control over many aspects of the natural world and the people within it.
The most common and well known types of fey are dryads, satyrs, and eladrin.
