Western Watchtower

"A simple wooden palisade surrounds the main encampment of tents and crudely constructed buildings housing the bar and stables. In the center of the encampment stands a single stone tower, watching over the encampment as it sleeps and housing the captain of the guard here along with his most trusted and senior comrades." The western watchtower is a simple military encampment that mainly serves as a barrier between the rest of Ixtal and the forest that connects it to Rabanastre and the rest of the west. It has been many years since anything of any real danger has emerged from the forest but there are those who remember tales of strange and dangerous creatures that roam the darkness beneath the branches of Wrentval. So the lazy guards keep the sole path through safe, regardless of how much they complain about the tediousness of it all.
