On the Watch for Home
Arriving at the end of the day the night unfolds... Showing signs of activity with no signs of slowing... Beginning the night watch with an open mind and weariness... Shadows leap and crawl as the dark shares its home... All the actions of one only seem to share in its confusion.... On the watch for something new that shakes the roots... Moon rising, shedding silver light on all that cowers below... They rise in energy and lose their mind to the night as it grows... With nothing more than their own light that shines with hope...
On the watch for something pure, only sharing what is needed more... On the watch in the night they share their light to a deeper core... On the watch they shall not fear since all that is left is Dark and Pure... On the watch with courage and wisdom, they shall not fear the other light...
A place filled with energy. A humble abode for us to be free... To share in all that is humanity. A home filled with laughter and smiles... A building where our words are listened to, in hope for a better we... A destination fit for Kings and Queens, where friends come to be happy...This is more than just a house, a home fit for heroes, where we can find destiny... A fort hidden in a valley, nested among high mountains, covered in trees... Let us share this rare treasure, a home fit for both men and women... A dream meant for children, but only achieved by grown adults... This is all there is to see, a place called home for you and me...

Keep pushing on and... Keep pushing forward...There is an end in sight... Let's work together...

I feel like I'm understanding the meaning behind this as "A watch to protect the home from dangers" kind of watch? I do like it. I like the descriptions - with the shadows leaping & crawling/Moon rising, etc. But if I can give you a tip - you don't have to use so much of the "..." - at least for me the effect of it was losing the thread of "how am I supposed to follow these lines, what's next? what makes sense". If you want to create expectation and mystery maybe try playing with longer sentences - long ones would make one feel slowed down, paying attention. Short sentences feel speedy and build tension - they are good for action sequences. :) Hope that helps!
Yes I see what you mean. It was a writing to be meant as a sort of nursery rhyme in my World of Myd'raal... Or a sort of lullaby. It was a prose that I would hope someone or some tool that can apply beat and scale in order to help the flow of the words since this is meant to be sort of sung as it is being told. Any videos or articles you might suggest?

The thing is - for the actual flow and emotion I don't really think you'd be able to find something to teach you, maybe you'd rather find something to guide you how to feel them and write them for yourself.
