Tyng-Bleyeth

This blade, supposedly made of pure, clear diamond, is a divine artefact of the Goddess Taylor. Tyng-Bleyeth (meaning Crystal Blade in elfish) is also known in some sources as the Star Sword, referring to its glimmering properties. Though it is considered simple for a divine artefact, the Star Sword is valued among the highest of all the artefacts through sheer beauty.

Mechanics & Inner Workings

The sword is supposedly made of diamond, the strongest material we know of yet. However, even pure diamond would be chipped or dulled over time. This leads one to believe Taylor has cast some sort of protection spell upon it, keeping it intact or repairing it. It may be possible the blade isn't even made out of diamond as many assume, rather it could be made out of some sort of mana.

Significance

The sword has religious, legendary, historical and even mythical significance, not to speak of its worth in battle.

• The pommel and the crossguard are made out of some black metal (as well as a thin strip of metal on the blade)
