Fogland Crystals

The Fogland Crystals are rumoured to be crystalized souls and memories of the inhabitants of the ancient city of Anchorra. These crystals tend to float around the Foglands, varying in sizes from as large as a house to one that fits inside of your palm. The nobels pay a fortune to the Fogwalkers to get them to bring out a Fogland Crystal. They then give these crystals to sick loved ones to hold onto in order to trigger the soul transfer. When that loved one dies, they give the crystal to an Artificer. The Artificier then makes a new body for the soul trapped inside the crystal. Scientists in Misea in the world of Arixia study these crystals and are currently doing research on how they transfer souls and why these crystals exist in the first place.
