Solstice Cake

This cake is generally bought or made in celebration of either the Summer or Winter solstice. The cake varies in flavour depending on which solstice it is. In the Winter, the cake is usually vanilla whereas the cake for the Summer is usually chocolate. The Solstice cake is a very special treat for the people of Myriad.

A Solstice cake can be different flavours but one thing is constant: It is usually decorated in the colours and with the symbols of Luciadh for Winter and Tokal for Summer.

Winter Solstice Cake

The Winter Solstice cake is generally a vanilla cake covered in a darker icing with edible silver bits and bobbles placed on top. It generally matches the aesthetic of Luciadh the Moon Sovereign. The cake is made with wellwishes for the coming year in mind.

Summer Solstice Cake

The Summer Solstice cake is generally chocolate and covered in a bright coloured icing with edible golden bits and bobbles on top. It generally matches the aesthetic of Tokal, the Sun Sovereign. The cake is made with wellwishes for the harvest in mind.

Excellent idea, and succinctly written! …So is there Equinox Cake? Pie, perhaps?
