Taiga

Taiga is a large continent divided into two distinct halves by a rugged mountain range known as the Dragon Spine Mountains. While there are cities on both sides of the Dragon Spines very little trade occurs between them. 
  The longest river on Taiga is the Ophion River. Its headwaters are at the base of the western side of the Dragon Spines and it flows in a meandering course across the Central Uplands and through the Western Midlands to the Bay of Bleys. At one point the river dives below the secondary mountain range, Blue Spires, which separates the Western Midlands from the Central Uplands. 
  Other features of note are the Ring Sea, a granite atoll like formation on the North West shore. The Boreal Expanse, a massive evergreen forest along the North shore along the base of the Dragon Spines. An impenetrable jungle against the southern end of the Dragon Spines called The Emerald Reach.   To the east of the barrier range lie the High Steppes, hostile desert known as the Great Wastes and finally, on the Eastern shore, the Sunrise Kingdoms.
